// INTRODUCTION // 01 OCTOBER 2022 //

Dear NCV Supporters,

October is here! Probably one of our favorite months of the year, both because of the crisp autumn weather, and the aesthetics (Halloween!). Much has happened since the last newsletter update, so thanks for sticking with us while the summer saw a newsletter hiatus. The hiatus was due to arrival dates of releases and inventory being even more elusive than usual, and we didn't think sharing "news" with almost everything "arriving someday" or "coming soon" was a good way to communicate with our supporters. While we are still working to get some releases from the past couple of months onto our shelves (represented by titles still in the 'Coming Soon' status), we have a great number of things that have arrived and are ready to ship immediately.

Have a look around! Everything shared in the newsletter is being mentioned here for the first time. Some titles may have had a social media post, and some more quietly making their way onto the website. The newsletter is meant to serve as our place to officially announce things, if a few titles may be ones you're already aware of, they're likely to be brand new to the majority of subscribers and supporters.

// NEW TITLES, RESTOCKS, AND REPRESSES FROM NEUROPA RECORDS //

October is a pretty fitting month to bring in our largest number of Dance With The Dead Titles ever! Some of these are long awaited restocks, or repressings of titles that had long since sold out. We thought we'd save some time and link to each and every DWTD title that arrived recently!

The latest release from DWTD! Right now the only way (we're aware of) to get this on vinyl is to see them on tour - so in the meantime we have this newest release, on CD format

(of course vinyl format will be brought in as soon as we're able!)

This summer also saw two new titles to vinyl from Neuropa:

Gloom Influx - 'Twilight' - 12"

purple vinyl with natural, yellow, and orange splatter- $25

Like darksynth that has been ruminating unheard and untouched for years, Twilight brings it! Both in intensity and shred, but also not without contemplative posturing - leading up to a plateau of brutality or buzzy balanced, grooves.

Microchip Terror - 'Illegal Experiments II' - 12"

natural white vinyl, with red & black splatter - $25

The followup to Illegal Experiments leaves nothing behind and explores new territorries of sci-fi inspired darksynth. Rad concept, fun record!

Electronic Purification has and will be releasing many more titles in 2022, and we will be bringing them in just as quickly as we're able to. Variants may not be fully represented here, but we're in a constant cycle of ordering more of everything! Stay tuned for future updates, and reach out if there are any titles or specific variants you'd like to have set aside upon arrival!

MOON8 - MOON8

This unique record from the label '8bit is Enough' sees MOON8 take on Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of The Moon', producing everything through 8-bit instrumentation, think NES era video games. A super limited run of this title was produced on NES cartridges, and we're glad to offer up the same, only on vinyl format!

Damokles - 'Bring Out The Funk'
black vinyl - $15

Something very interesting is the melding of electro-funk and early German electronic music (Kraftwerk): Damokles showcases that on 'Bring Out The Funk' 12". This was the kick-off to a very productive next several years for Damokles - a great chance to pick up this unique offering from Keytar Records!

New release in 2022, Night Sins brings deliberate and mature post-punk with the introspective presence of mind they're known for.

Korine - 'New Arrangements' - 12"
2022 repress - yellow vinyl

Born Losers Records repressed 'New Arrangements' on yellow vinyl this year, they've already sold out - but we still have copies onhand of this stellar release from our beloved Korine!

We've long appreciated the music made by Isidor, something about his ability for song writing, stellar synth skills, and unique sound - we were extremely excited to be involved in bringing forth the retail variants of both 'Lord of Synth' and the reissue of the formerly crowd funded '3218'. Proper darksynth from Serbia!
