Dear NCV Supporters,
Happy 2023, over three months in! It's been a long time since a newsletter - in fact October 2022 was the last time we landed in your inbox, so at least we can't be accused of spam! Welcome to all of the new subscribers, and to those who have been with us for a long time, thank you for hanging in there.
Some of the news we share today may be known by many of you, apologies for the redundancy - but we want to make sure everyone has the latest information, especially if our newsletter is the only way you keep an eye on happenings at Night City Vinyl.
Lastly, thank you for a great year in 2022! Support of NCV grew from 2021, opening up new opportunities for us to bring you more great music and add a little depth to our catalog. 2023 is staging up to be a year with a lot of great music and we're excited to help share it with everyone. Your comments, feedback, social media support, and overall efforts to spread the word about NCV continues to make an impact - thank you so very much for that!

While some of these have been in the shop for a couple few months, some are brand spanking new. Regardless, they're all first timers to our newsletter.
We have a dear appreciation and respect for the work that A23 has done over the years - and the impact he's had on industrial genres and beyond. The 20th anniversary of Failure seems a fitting release to make available to supporters whether you're new to A23 or a long-haul fan since the start
Released October 2022 on Avant! Records , the latest from HØRD is a touch lighter than previous efforts - a keen awareness for all facets of electronic music - this new creative LP is one of those that presents new observations on each listen.
Although a very different genre than our typical catalog - we like carrying records by This Will Destroy You because they're excellent at very cinematic and contemplative music (post rock), that the vinyl format is perfect for!

// THE MOTION EPIC - DEEP IN THE HEART OF AMERICA // NCV-001
2022-2023 saw Night City Vinyl reaching a new milestone - we co-released the physical vinyl records of The Motion Epic's 'Deep in the Hearth of America', along with Sofa King Vinyl! A step beyond our previous retail exclusive variants, it is the first (of hopefully many!) titles we're able to play a role in actually physically releasing...going a little further to support the community beyond shop/distro!
Due to the nature of it being a co-release, the record is currently available directly on Bandcamp - at the following link. This stood out as the best solution for all involved, including supporters and fans, to get this title to you quickly and safely. Although it isn't directly in our catalog, supporting this release via Bandcamp does support NCV.

We're excited the share Laura Dre's new cyberpunk release and campaign on Kickstarter - for AD-01.

// DOMESTIC US SHIPPING RATE CHANGE / EFFECTIVE APRIL 1st 2023 //
We've saved the least exciting news for last: After over 2 years without the need to adjust our U.S. / domestic shipping rate from "$5 for the first item, plus $1 per additional item" , a couple of price increases at USPS, payment processing fee increases, and a very recent increase in packaging material prices, we must make an adjustment to our U.S. shipping rates.
Starting April 1st, 2023 the new domestic U.S. shipping rate at NCV will be the following: "$6 for the first item, $1 per additional item"
This should effectively only impact each order by $1, whether you're ordering 1 item ($5 before, soon to be $6), or 3 items ($7 before, soon to be $8).
Thank you in advance for your understanding, we still believe we have one of the most competitive shipping rates available, using best in class mailers, packing materials, and careful efforts to make sure your shipments arrive safely. International shipping rates change more frequently, and are regularly updated "behind the scenes" , we're hoping to not need another adjustment to U.S. / domestic rates for another 1-2 years, or more!
