This Nightcrawler release has no shortage of very cool things about it! Of course, 'Beware of the Humans' brings us Nightcrawler's, creeping, crawling, darker side of the synthwave sound - but the artwork is also extremely unique here. The cover features the work of artist Serhiy Krykun, and the overall record's design elements tie in with that art wonderfully. As for the music on 'Beware of the Humans', it feels right at home as an envelope pushing Nightcrawler release, with lengthy songs that build in beautiful anticipation over time, to some supurb guitar solo work (ULTRABOSS!) and synth leads....a very "synth noir" thriller of an LP. Appearances by Jared Kyle, Cristian Bergagna, Celine, Vincenzo Salvia, and Mynationshit - as well as the aforementioned Ultraboss, make for some unique collabs on the 10 song, 48 minute record. -NCV
